Friends of Murphy is a volunteer-run animal rescue. Every animal we help is supported by people who choose to show up, lend a hand, and make a difference.

Ways to volunteer

You don’t need prior rescue experience. What matters most is reliability, compassion, and a willingness to help.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Helping with animal care and socialization

• Assisting foster homes with supplies or transport

• Transporting animals to veterinary appointments

• Supporting adoption events or meet-and-greets

• Administrative and behind-the-scenes support

• Community outreach or fundraising assistance

Some roles are hands-on. Others can be done remotely. All of them matter.
